For this episode, I am joined by Tim from the Terminally Single Podcast and Joey! We kind of gloss over project runway for about 5 minutes, discuss the problems with this season at length, admit we haven’t watched the last four episodes, and I admit I like the commentary from Project Rungay far more than I like the actual show.
I also whine about my new commute and talk about my shiny new floors (which is why this episode probably seems a bit more echoey than usual).
In this installment of They Don’t Know, Tim from Terminally Single, Mark and Joe join me in the realization that Project Runway sort of sucks this season and doesn’t really warrant summaries beyond “we sort of want Chris to win, want Gordana to stop getting picked-on, and we have this list of 4 people we’d like to see fall on their face and sent home… after Nina and Michael make them cry (if they ever make it back to the show simultaneously)”. That’s Not Good.
So, we play a voicemail from Princess Honnah (love you girl!) talk about the Project Runway mess for about 15 minutes and then move on to talking about cars, life, and how much Joe can make us laugh with his cray cray crazy characters. Expect more of this in the future.

Greetings all, this is another project runway scrappy where me and a few friends talk about the most recent episode of Project Runway.
In this episode, we observe how unconventional materials challenges brings out the mean-ness in everyone, we espouse on which designers we want to see win, and which ones we think will actually win, and we lament that PR has been lacking this year. This has been the first “fun” challenge… but it’s one of those fun ones where you feel a bit dirty when it’s all over. We want one of the fun ones that makes you feel inspired after it’s all over. We’re thinking drag queen challenge… We’re thinking Chrysler building dress…
This is the Project Runway Scrappy for Episodes Three and Four of Season Six. Project Runway Scrappies are where me and a few friends sit down and chat (and bitch) about Project Runway.
This time around, I managed to snag Tim from Terminally Single, Mark and Joe. We have a pretty good time catching up on both the episodes, especially after a crazy couple of weeks. Please listen and enjoy!
Mark and I discuss the continued merging of all the models, the shocking auffing selection (and whether it is a blatant ploy to cause more drama in the companion show, models of the runway) and continue to lament the situation the poor models are placed-in. Otherwise, we hope you have a good time listening to the show.
Project runway is back and it’s much more Los Angelos-ey! Thus BelfryExpress and I chatted about the new show(s), commented on the more remarkable designers, and apologized to the ones that weren’t remarkable enough to stand out in the sea of 16 this time around. We discuss the long and litigious road to season 6 actually showing up in a new place with a new channel… We also chat about the plight of the models (“you, m’dears, are subject to the whim of just about everyone but yourselves…”) as seen in the kinda-cool new companion show “Models of the runway”.
Otherwise, we had fun recording this scrappy and look forward to recording future ones (hopefully coming out every Friday evening like clockwork to give everyone a chance to see the show before we comment on it). And, as per usual, if you want to send us email, voicemail, or be on the show itself… we’d love to have you on. The more the merrier!
So, Bravo has a new fashion show out called… The Fashion Show. So of course I had to get some friends to make fun of it, and issue a few praises for the good bits (if any). And those friends happened to be Mark, Eric, and Tim from the Terminally Single Podcast
There are too many people on the show at the moment, but a few stood out, and we already have some ideas of who is going to be making it to the final four just because they are crazy and dramatic and the producers won’t let them go home.
We discuss why we’re happy it’s done, and why we think Project Runway needs to take a respite for a bit. We also get AMY AND BAY from GRITS TO GLITZ to help us open the show. SUBSCRIBE TO THEM NOW!! Please. It makes us happy.
